Reboot

Reboot – Rebooting, Re-Rooting and Re-Skilling Unemployed and Underemployed Higher Education Graduates for Work 4.0

The Reboot project aims to increase the employability of both unemployed and underemployed HE graduates. This will be achieved through an online training programme that will help HE graduates to improve their soft skills and competencies in line with Work 4.0 and will include a skill-competence testing tool, enabling better self-reflection and understanding.

This programme is designed to not only help HE graduates in developing non-cognitive skills and competencies (e.g. problem solving, creativity, team work), but also to help them to recognise, demonstrate and “sell” their existing skills, which is an increasingly important skill for finding a job.

There are high levels of unemployment and underemployment among graduates in the EU. Long-term unemployment increases difficulties to return to work, placing graduates at risk of social exclusion.
