Kaleidoscope
The objective of the Kaleidoscope project is to facilitate entrepreneurship among migrant women living in the EU. Currently migrants and especially migrant women are much more likely to be unemployed or under-employed compared with EU citizens.
The training model the Kaleidoscope project provides concentrates on soft skills development in order to help migrant women become self-employed and build a successful enterprise. Migrant women often face a double disadvantage, as women they face a gendered disadvantage in the provision of entrepreneurship training in their resident countries which is usually focused towards male entrepreneurs, and as migrants they may also face ethnic discrimination.
This project works with partners in Finland, Italy, France and the UK.
