Advancing Migrant Women
The Advancing Migrant Women project aims to develop high quality training material and support for migrant women. Through a holistic programme based on training and mentoring, they will increase their employability and entrepreneurship skills, build their self-efficacy and hereby feel empowered to break through the integration issues many migrant women face.
Finally, the AMW project will increase awareness amongst employers of the economic and social benefits of recruiting migrant women. It will address the full spectrum of barriers that migrant women face and harness the benefits of female migrants’ integration towards achieving the overall objectives of poverty reduction and socio-economic development.
